Far Infrared saunas offer deeper heat penetration, targeting muscles and joints for enhanced pain relief and improved circulation. The diorect radiant heat promotes more effective detoxification through deeper sweating, all at a much lower and more comfortable temperature. Additionally, infrared saunas have shorter heat-up times, use less energy, and don’t require custom electrical installations for the 2-person models, making them easier and more cost-effective to setup. The gentle heat also supports cardiovascular health by mimicking light exercise, helping reduce blood pressure without the intense heat of traditional saunas.

Simply put—the science. Far Infrared has been safely used in saunas for over four decades, delivering deep, detoxifying heat that penetrates the skin and muscles. Full Spectrum saunas are less efficient, as they are primarily Far Infrared (about 90%) with minimal Mid and Near Infrared output, and often emit higher EMF levels. Mid Infrared is not well-studied and is typically covered by the Far Infrared range.
Near Infrared (NIR), while useful for focused red light therapy with a proper, science-based LED device (not typically found in saunas), provides little heat and is not effective for sauna therapy. It needs to be used with precision, close to the skin, and is most beneficial when the body is not heated (before sweating) and for short periods (8-10 minutes).

Yes, our Far Infrared Saunas are designed with ultra-low EMF and ELF levels, ensuring safe heating with minimal radiation exposure, which is negligible. This is an important consideration, as not all brands offer low EMF protection, and most don’t include ultra-low ELF panels. Additionally, our saunas are made from non-toxic materials, preventing harmful off-gassing, further supporting your health and well-being.

Our saunas take around 15-minutes to heat-up to their maximum temperature, which is 65 degrees celsius.
However, unlike Traditional saunas, it’s important to note that the ambient temperature inside the sauna is not the key therapeautic factor. Far Infrared Saunas heat the body directly via direct, radiant heat.

Most sauna sessions last 20–30 minutes, but this can vary greatly depending on personal preference, health goals and comfort. I.e. Sessions times for some more robust detox protocols can extend to an hour. Listen to your body and consult your health professional for personalised guidance.

Sauna use can vary depending on individual health and goals. For most healthy adults, using a sauna daily is safe, but studies suggest the greatest benefits may be achieved with 3–5 sessions per week. Consult your health professional for personalised advice.

It’s best to use the sauna naked or with minimal clothing made from natural fabrics like cotton. Avoid wearing synthetic fabrics such as polyester, which can trap sweat and reduce cooling efficiency, potentially increasing the risk of overheating. You also avoid the potential risk of synthetics offgasing toxins.
For hygiene and comfort, bring one or two towels to sit on and to wipe away sweat during your session. This helps prevent sweat from being reabsorbed and maintains cleanliness in the sauna.

Maintenance
Very little!
We advise a wipe down of the benches and walls with a damp cloth after every few sesisons and to leave the door open to air it out. We also advise to give it a deeper clean every 2-4 weeks with a natural cleaning spray, or a mild bi carb solution. If required, you may dust the sauna with a dry dust cloth.
Do not use chemical cleaners on your sauna. Light sandpaper can be used to treat bad stains on the inside of the sauna if need be.
